Visofold can be used in domestic applications as either an alternative to sliding doors, or to open up an entire wall as part of a conservatory; the system will make the most of a beautiful view or bring a garden into the home.
Used commercially in a bar, café or restaurant, Visofold can create a glazed screen that allows in the maximum ingress of light in inclement weather, and will also easily glide to open up an entire wall in warmer weather. Visofold doors offer a choice of opening configurations to suit any application. Choose to fold the sashes internally or externally, place the opening at the side so the sashes all fold one way, at one end, to create a single entrance door for easy access, or in the middle to give the option of a double door.
All Visofold profiles feature a polyamide thermal break that enhances the thermal performance of the profile and improves the overall U-Value. Profiles feature EPDM high quality gaskets and weather brushes to aid weather resistance. Visofold complies with the requirements of Building Regulations Document L 2010. Security is assured by multi-point lock mechanisms on main opening sashes, and shoot-bolt locking on floating mullions.
All Visofold doors have the option of either low thresholds for unimpeded, easy access, or rebated thresholds that offer improved weather resistance. Visofold doors are available in a choice of standard or non-standard colours, including metallic, wood-structure, dual colour and Smart’s unique Sensations range of textured finishes.
This versatile range of profiles can provide many solutions for residential and light commercial applications. It can create traditional casement windows inspired by the elegance and styling of timber products, or contemporary style windows designed for modern homes or offices.
Alitherm profiles utilise Smart’s innovative polyamide thermal break technology which creates a barrier between the cold air outside and the warm air inside. This technology significantly reduces thermal transmittance and enhances the overall U Value of a product and is designed to meet the exacting requirements of Document L 2010.

The new Aliver Orangery Roof system has been developed to deliver all the performance and aesthetic benefits of a modern aluminium solution. Its clean, slim lines provide a strong, durable, secure and low maintenance solution for orangery roofs.
Available in any finish from Smart’s extensive colour palettes, Aliver Orangery Roof system may be specified in any colour to perfectly match or to contrast with the building’s doors and windows. With options ranging from traditional white to pastel shades of blue and green, to bronze and silver and through to vibrant red, the Aliver Orangery Roof system can also be supplied in a dual-colour format, with the inside and outside of the frame specified in different colours.
The elegant design of the system ensures that the glass area is maximised, creating a light and airy feel in the orangery, with a minimalist structure to ensure virtually uninterrupted views.
Providing a traditional 25° pitch, the elegant name roof system has been designed to incorporate standard 28mm double glazed units, with the thermally-broken aluminium profiles combining to deliver outstanding energy efficiency and thermal performance.
Suitable for both contemporary and traditional designs, new build homes, extensions and refurbishments, name is fast and straightforward to install. With minimal equipment required and the incorporation of bespoke moulding blocks, only straight cuts are required for each profile.
Security of the finished system is assured through the use of pressure plates which are secured with anti-tamper screws, ensuring that the roof is strong, safe and secure.
